Druzy earrings have become quite the favorite in local boutiques and facebook shops lately. Neosho residents are no different in their love for these little baubles. They have enjoyed crafting these earrings so much that they have requested the craft to extend into the month of March and want to expand into pendants. They have even crafted pairs for their loved ones, which is great, because handmade gifts from the heart are always the best. We love trying new things!
It is the random acts of kindness that make this world a better place. THANK YOU to the employees at Lilly's Floral in Neosho, MO for their large donation of fresh flowers. The fragrance and beauty of fresh flowers really brightened up the dining room and lifted spirits today. The residents loved coming to the tables to do activities and eat their meals with the bright, fresh bouquets on the tables. After the bitter temperatures and the drizzle of winter, these flowers were a wonderful reminder that Spring is not too far away... ...
Man, what a difference a week makes. Last week we were under blankets trying to keep warm in subzero temps and today.. well the temps rose to the mid 60's! Residents at Butler took advantage of the beautiful sunshine and warm rays and enjoyed every minute of being outside! ...
Billy Burns was elected by the Neosho Resident Council to be the February Resident of the Month. Billy loves Rock and Roll from the 50s to the 70s decades and plays concerts for his hall daily. His neighbors count on his lively wake up call every morning and depend on the breakfast jive with their java. He has a taste for hot sauce and states that he likes it on everything. If you miss him, he is probably tucked in a corner, working on a puzzle. Currently he has combined his love for puzzles and the Chiefs and has almost completed a Chief's AFC Championship puzzle. Joking around is something that comes natural with Billy and he is always a lot of fun. Congratulations Billy for being the February Resident of the Month! ...
